Amazing

Just a note to let you know the Oldhams' home sold after only 3 weeks on the market. The reason I titled this entry "AMAZING" lies in the fact that the AZ housing market is crashing, big-time. We were prepared to have our home on the market possibly for a year...yet we have two pending offers on our home also. I'll keep you updated. God never ceases to amaze us. When He wants something to happen, it does. Yeah!

Happy Easter

Ok, so I officially get the "lamest blogger of the year so far" award.  Especially since I even had comments on my last couple of entries and I didn't even notice.  (sigh)  Stine, yep, it's true.  We're returning to the land of milk and honey...oh wait, that's jello.
Actually, I have decent reason to be lame.  Our computer died on February 24th.  On February 23, we had been drooling over some things in the Mac store, and somehow our PC at home heard about it.  There was no note, but we have ruled out foul play.  It was a senseless death, and an autopsy is pending...
Needless to say, now we are just drooling over the money that we used to have.  I'm thankful my father-in-law, Bill, and my friends CR and Michael are all Mac junkies, so I'm getting a crash course in using this thing.
Earlier this month Joe and I spent a week house hunting.  The market up there hasn't crashed the way it has down here, so we we are patiently waiting for the real estate cloud of doom to reach the land of Zion.  When it does, we'll swoop in with our pocket change and get us a 2- bedroom shack with outdoor plumbing.  Ok, we hope not, but if I keep my expectations low...
We also registered the kids for school, found the two closest coffee houses (we'll deal with the trivial things like jobs later) and ate at the El Matador.  I'm not sure why, but it seems nearly sacrilege for us to visit home and not eat at either Robintino's or the El Matador (which we did both).  We also napped.  Did I mention the kids stayed here with their wonderful grandparents? I do have some pictures to post, so I'll do that now so that I can get to bed.  My eyes are nearly closed thanks to allergies (it hit 94 here today, so EVERYTHING is blooming...we must have 30 rosebuds on our bush in our Abby garden).
By the way, did anybody else feel a little gypped to have St. Patrick's Day and Easter in the same week?  It was like a holiday 2-for-1.  However, the story of the real St. Patrick is a fascinating one and I'm sure he would have been honored to share this week with the celebration of Christ's resurrection.
Here are some Easter pics.

Happy Easter, Everyone!
With lots of love from the Cross gang
